Wager Bureau (“we”, “us”, “the site”) operates wagerbureau.com, an independent information and comparison service about online casinos. This policy explains what personal data we process, why, and what rights you have. The short version: this site has no user accounts, sets no first-party tracking cookies, and collects personal data only when you choose to send it to us through a form.

Data we collect

Contact and affiliate forms. When you submit our contact or affiliate inquiry form, we receive the information you type — typically a name, an email address and your message. Form submissions are delivered to our inbox through FormSubmit, a third-party form relay service, which processes the submission solely to deliver it to us.

Server logs. Like virtually every website, our hosting infrastructure records standard technical logs: IP address, request URL, timestamp, browser user-agent and referrer. We use these only for security, abuse prevention and keeping the site running. Logs rotate automatically and are not used to build visitor profiles.

Nothing else. We do not require registration, we do not operate newsletters at this time, we run no advertising trackers, and we do not buy, sell or enrich personal data.

What we use data for

• Answering the messages you send us (legal basis: our legitimate interest in responding, or steps prior to a contract for affiliate inquiries).
• Operating, securing and debugging the website (legitimate interest).
• Complying with legal obligations where they apply to us.

Third-party services

FormSubmit relays form submissions to our inbox. CoinGecko supplies the live cryptocurrency prices shown in the ticker — your browser requests that data directly from CoinGecko, which technically exposes your IP address to them, as with any third-party API. We embed no social media widgets. Plausible Analytics (self-hosted) provides our visitor statistics from our own server: it uses no cookies, stores no personal identifiers, and records aggregate page counts only — the data never leaves infrastructure we control and is never shared with third parties.

Casino links.Links to casino brands on this site are affiliate links. Once you leave wagerbureau.com, the operator’s own privacy policy applies — including any cookies or tracking they use to attribute your visit. We receive aggregate referral statistics from affiliate programs, never your identity, playing activity or financial details.

Data retention

Form correspondence is kept for as long as needed to handle your inquiry and for a reasonable period afterwards, then deleted. Technical server logs rotate on a short cycle measured in weeks.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or UK GDPR), you may have the right to access, rectify, delete, restrict or object to the processing of your personal data, the right to data portability, and the right to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority. Since we hold almost nothing about you, the fastest route for any request is simply to contact us and tell us what you sent and what you want done with it.

Age restriction

This website discusses gambling and is intended exclusively for adults aged 18 or over. We do not knowingly collect data from minors; if you believe a minor has submitted personal data to us, contact us and we will delete it.

We will update this page when our data practices change and revise the “last updated” date above. Significant changes will be noted on this page.
